At 3:15 pm MedStat, the Mississippi Highway Patrol. Attala Fire, Providence and Zama Volunteers were dispatched to Hwy 19 South about 4 miles South of the Hwy 14 intersection. Emergency personnel arrived on the scene to find one vehicle that had hydroplaned leaving the roadway striking a tree. This is the second time at the exact same location a driver lost control of a vehicle after a rain. The other caused a rollover on July 25th of this year. Medics transported three patients with what was said to be only minor injuries to Montfort Jones. The owner and driver of the vehicle, a Jones from Kosciusko, was traveling North on Hwy 19 with two children as passengers.
