At 6:25 pm Attala Fire Station 1, Attala Deputies and MedStat were called to Attala Road 3022 for a report of a house fire. Firefighters arrived on scene to find a double wide house trailer with smoke showing. Central Station was able to contain the fire by 7:02 pm. No injuries were reported and firefighters were even seen saving a puppy from the home. Attala 3, Deputy Randy Blakely, was called to the location. It is not known at this time the reason for Investigator Blakely being called to the scene. Emergency personnel cleared the scene at 7:58 pm.

At 8:30 pm ACFD, ACSO and Friendship Volunteers responded to a structure fire at 8823 Attala Road 3022, the Smith Residence. Audio Attala Fire 110 was first on scene and advised the mobile home was fully engulfed. Firefighters were able to contain the fire by 9:36 and all units were cleared by 10:35.
