At 1:58 p.m. ACFD responded to Attala Road 5053 for a report of a skidder fire. Upon arrival Engine 12 advised that the skidder was fully involved, and they were attempting to extinguish the flames. Engine 12 stated that the skidder fire was contained and they would be 10-8 ( back in service) to the station at 2:57pm. Captain Goza with the Attala County Fire Department told KOL that the skidder, owned by Larry Wheeless, was a total loss. The cause of the fire is still under investigation by ACFD
